Aging & Saging
Cancelled due to Covid
As our bodies age we experience times of struggle, resistance and suffering, all a natural part of this human experience. Learn to transform the predictable sufferings of aging into profound opportunities for growth in clarity, love, compassion, and peace.
As part of our program we are excited to have Ms. Diane Saccone, Director of Healthy Aging Initiatives for the YMCA Western North Carolina lead a discussion on viewing the aging process from a perennial perspective; to celebrate how our body and mind change according to the seasons and throughout our life process; an honoring of the incredible beauty of our natural selves.
We invite you to join us as we step whole heartedly into this amazing chapter of our lives.
During our time together you will:
Experience practices such as SHINRIN-YOKU (Forest Bathing), SELF-COMPASSION and GRATITUDE all of which you can incorporate into your daily life.
Discover how to awaken the energy centers of your body and celebrate how your body and mind changes according to the seasons and throughout life .
Reflect upon the wisdom gained during your life through FOCUSED FREE WRITING, discuss ways you can share this wisdom to benefit others
PRACTICE MEDITATIONS designed to align you with your true self, that which is pure love and wholeness.
